Honoring Reva

Reva is unstoppable. A retired social studies teacher, current Science Olympiad volunteer, and friend to all who cross her path. As a Ladue alumna and parent of a Science Olympian, it was my pleasure to create this video in her honor.
The Ladue Education Foundation and Alumni Association gave Reva a well deserved honor at the 13th annual community breakfast.

The gala may be over, but today, the first day of school, is a great time to say thank you to the Ladue Education Foundation (LEF) for everythng it does to support our teachers, students and district.

The Ladue Education Foundation honored 90 year old former Ladue track coach and U.S Track and Field Masters Hall of Famer at their 2017 community breakfast.
This year, he has already competed in four Masters events, placing first in several categories and modestly stated: “Being 90 means there is very little competition." A beloved teacher, mentor a friend, this nonagenarian who looks decades younger has a lot to be proud of.

Pay It Forward

The Ladue Education Foundation consists of parents and neighbors, alumni and teachers, community and business leaders who support the exceptional programs that provide extraordinary opportunities for Ladue students. With mentoring partnerships and over 100 grants to date, the LEF has impacted every school in the district and every field of education, from art and language to science and mathematics.
This video highlights faculty and staff throughout the district who participate in Pay It Forward. Their gifts help strengthen and maintain the district and allow the LEF to continue to provide grants and innovative experiences to students.

Ladue Education Foundation - Rhythm and Hues

As an alumna of the Ladue School District music program, I was delighted to contribute to Rhythm and Hues, an evening of music benefiting the districts' music program. Hosted by The Ladue Education Foundation, retired music teachers Sandy Baldwin, Lois Percival, Jo Anne Smiley and Jim Waechter were honored as lifetime achievers who were instrumental to the development and growth of the district's music program.
